Job Title: Lead front-end Developer
Location – Milwaukee, Wisconsin
Position Type: Full-time
Role/Responsibilities
- Develop a best-in-class user interface for our generative AI platform, using the latest web technologies and stack such as NextJS/React/expressJS
- Design, implement and support a front-end integrated with our RESTful APIs
- Triage issues and debug/track/resolve them by analyzing the sources of issues and the impact on service operations and quality
- Partner with other software engineers, designers, QA engineers, and product managers to architect and prototype UI features and interaction design
- Work closely with program/project managers and stakeholders to manage priorities and deliver projects in a timely manner.
- Take ownership of backlog items and actively contribute to the git repositories, driving the progress of projects and delivering high-quality code.
What’s Required
- Experienced building single page web applications using RESTful web services and processing JSON data
- Experience tuning front-end applications to optimize performance across platforms
- Proficiency in user interface design to achieve user-friendly experiences
- Familiar with testing, debugging, deployment, and continuous integration tools and techniques for web applications
- Experience with React, NextJS, ExpressJS and TypeScript
- Expereience with UI development with Generative AI (LLM APIs)
- Familiar with Kubernetes or Docker
- Writing component and E2E tests in frontend test automation tools and maintaining strong code coverage
- Working knowledge of computer science basics, such as basic data structures and algorithms
- Ability to prototype new concepts quickly and iterate for rapid feedback
- Ability to work closely with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
Pay Range in Milwaukee, Wisconsin
Base Salary: $105,000 - $ 115,000
In addition, this position qualifies for benefits like health insurance, paid time off (PTO), 401(K). Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, education, and/or to comply with federal or state law.
